CANCELLATION

Studio & Booking Policies

 

LINA TRAN STUDIO is by appointment only.

✦ Booking Policies:

We require a valid credit card on file, and a booking fee in order to secure your appointment slot. All booking fees are considered final and non-refundable.
 

*HST is applied at checkout


 

 Late Arrivals:

Call/text us if you are running behind.
Late arrivals can impact your service plans, and unfairly delay the appointment start time of the following guests. 

Please call or text us if you will be up to 15 minutes late. More than 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show and the booking fee will be 
forfeited.
Cosmetic Tattoo Services
Clients that arrive late to their initial service, the included follow-up will also be cancelled.
new booking fee will be required to reschedule both appointments.

✦ Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy:
 

Changes can be made up to 48 hours after confirming and appointment using the link inside your confirmation email. 

Any changes after 48 hours of confirming will be considered final and secured. 

Pease keep in mind that missed appointments and improper notice for cancellations/rescheduling leaves gaps in the schedule; this prevents us from accommodating other guests waiting for service. As a courtesy, we send a reminder email 1 week prior to your appointment, and another reminder email & SMS 48 hours prior.

 

 In the event that we cannot get a hold of you, it is still your responsibility to arrive on time for your appointment, in order to avoid late arrivals and missed appointment fees. 

Canceled  appointments will result in a forfeited booking fee.


Missed appointments will incur a 100% service fee.

Lina Tran Studio makes every effort to accommodate scheduling requests without penalties, however, we reserve the right to enforce our policies as necessary.

Refunds:
Due to the nature of our services, once a treatment has been carried out we do not offer any refunds. 

Right to refuse service:

We reserve the right to refuse our services to anyone demonstrating aggressive or inappropriate behavior towards guests or staff members.

 Cosmetic Tattoo Policy

All cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered a multiple-step process. Healed results will vary for each client. Although we give our best efforts to provide you with quality service, we cannot guarantee results. 
 
Pre-care and Aftercare:
In order for your brows, lips, and/or lash line to look their very best, it is crucial to follow all pre-care restrictions and aftercare instructions. Failure to follow the instructions can result in expelling of the pigment, and lead to poor results.

If your pre-care restrictions are not followed we reserve the right to cancel the appointment.
 
 Consultations: 
We highly recommend booking a consultation prior to your initial service. This allows you to see the shape/colour of your cosmetic tattoo mapped out, and is a great way to go over the specifics of your recommended treatment. For consultations, the booking fee is required in advance to secure your appointment slot, and is equal to the amount of the consultation fee.

Waived Consultations: 
We strongly recommend booking a consultation prior to booking your initial cosmetic tattoo session. However, you may optionally waive the consultation.
 
If, on the day of the treatment, we find out that:
  • Your desired look is not in accordance with our studio philosophy (shape, placement and colour determined by your individual facial features to create a natural look
  • You have undisclosed allergies
  • You have undisclosed medical contraindications
  • You have previous cosmetic tattoo work (and have not booked a consultation to clear it with our team)

 Existing Brow/Lash Line/Lip Tattoos:

We request that you email us clear photos of your brows, lash line, or lips for approval  to info@linatranstudio.com prior to booking to confirm your eligibility for a treatment. Please allow 1-2 business days for a response. If for any reason you scheduled an appointment without approval from our team, your booking fee will be forfeited. 

✦ Consent Forms: 
All forms must be filled out within 24 hours of confirming your booking, otherwise your artist will not be able to prepare the correct tools for your treatment.

 Included Follow Up Session:

New initial services include an initial, and a follow up appointment. Follow ups must be scheduled in the specific booking window for best results.

 

If you need to book it outside of the booking window, it is no longer an included follow up and will incur an additional charge as an 'Additional Touch Up'.

 Returning  Maintenance Session (Existing clients only):

Maintenance touch ups is 1 session only unless you are outside of the maintenance window and most likely will require an additional touch up. 

You can book using our online scheduling system. Touch up pricing is calculated using the duration from your last paid appointment.

COSMETIC POLICY

Hair Service Policies

 Consultation:
Consultations are highly recommended if this is your first colour service with us.
 
They are a great way for us to go over your hair history, and ensure that we have a better understanding of your expectations. This will also help us ensure that expectations are realistic, and that it is possible to deliver the results you desire.
 
If there were to be a chemical reaction, or if your hair has been compromised (ex. due to past bleach/colour services) we may refuse to proceed with the service, and suggest alternative options.  
 
 Attire
Proper clothing is encouraged, as we are not responsible for stained or damaged clothes during your visit. 
Corrections:
We must be notified within 48 hours of service for us to honor an appointment for a correction. Corrections will be done within 7 days, and are not transferable to another stylist. A new price will apply to new stylists.

SALON ETIQUETTE

Salon Etiquette

 We all love moral support, but we allow only one client in the room with the artist during the duration of the treatment. Family/friends will be asked to wait in the lobby.
 
 If there are children present, please make sure there is another adult present to supervise them during your appointment. Family & friends are asked to wait in the lobby, to ensure the best results, we ask that your service is not interrupted.
 No pets allowed.
